Still Mild With A Few Showers Across Eastern North Carolina

The warm weather continued across eastern North Carolina on Wednesday as highs reached the lower 70s in many communities. A weak cold front will push into our area Thursday morning and will produce a few showers. The shower activity will move off the coast during the afternoon followed by partly sunny skies. It will still be mild with highs in the upper 60s to around 70°. Slightly cooler air will filter into eastern North Carolina Thursday night into Friday. Highs will stay in the 50s over the weekend with a threat for showers Saturday night or Sunday.
