Spring Flooding In Midwest Unlikely This Year

Flooding has occurred during the spring over the past three years but it is unlikely to happen again this year. There has been little snowfall and temperatures have been running above normal all winter. The Red River Valley that runs through eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota still could experience some minor flooding from the snowpack in Canada. Conditions could change if significant snowfall occurs over the next two months.
