Showers & Storms This Evening

Warm and moist air combined with a slow moving cold front will continue to produce showers and thunderstorms this evening.

Although most storms will remain below the severe threshold this evening there is a slight risk of severe storms.

The primary impacts from the storms will be frequent lightning, heavy downpours, wind gusts to 60 mph, and hailstones up to 1" in diameter.

More showers and storms are likely on Saturday, although most should stay below severe limits.

Quieter weather will return to the area on Sunday.
