A Hot And Humid Week Ahead

The scattered showers and storms we experienced over the weekend will become more isolated this week as the stationary front responsible for the increased coverage dissipates and slides well north of the area Monday.

Although our rain chances will decrease there will still be isolated storms each afternoon as the atmosphere destabilizes with the intense afternoon heat.

Temperatures will be above average this week with highs soaring into the lower to middle 90s each afternoon with the heat index likely topping 100° all week.

There will be only minimal relief each night from the heat as lows will likely only fall into the middle 70s.

Have a great week and be sure to stay hydrated.
