Showers and Storms Linger Along I-95, Slowly Weakening

UPDATE:

There are no active watches or warnings and the showers and storms continue to weaken and will dissipate over the next few hours.

PREVIOUS:

The showers along the coast continue to weaken but other storms to our west will impact inland counties over the next few hours.

Storms to the west on I-95 are rapidly pushing to the east tonight and will likely brings showers and storms to our inland counties who did not receive any rain this afternoon.

Some of the storms will be strong with heavy rain, lightning, small hail, and gusty winds.

There is the potential for some of the storms to become severe although with loss of daytime heating that threat continues to diminish.
