Scattered Storms Today

Today will be similar to Saturday with highs in the middle 80s and the chance for scattered showers and storms.

The showers and storms that do form will have the potential to produce brief periods of heavy rain and gusty winds.

The overall severe threat is minimal but isolated strong to severe storms will be possible during the afternoon and evening associated with peak heating.

During the evening the showers will begin to diminish with any severe threat ending by 9pm.

Late Sunday night and into Monday low pressure will approach from the west providing a better chance for showers and storms.
