An unseasonably warm weekend is on the way to eastern Carolina. Temperatures will soar into the lower to middle 70s each afternoon from Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures would need to reach the middle 70s in most locations to tie or break a record. Skies should be partly sunny each day with a light southwesterly breeze. The warm weather conditions will continue into early next week.
