High pressure off the East Coast will keep eastern Carolina dry and warm through Thursday. Afternoon highs will hit the upper 80s inland and lower 80s on the beaches. Skies will be mostly sunny throughout the day. South winds will blow at 5 to 10 mph but may reach 15 mph at times along the beaches. Little change is expected for the end of the week and weekend. Afternoon highs will be near 90° inland and lower 80s on the beaches Friday through Sunday.
