A quiet but nice weather pattern is shaping up for the week across eastern Carolina. Election Day will have afternoon highs in the 60s under partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures will hit the lower 70s on Wednesday and Thursday. An approaching cold front may bring a few showers by Thursday but rainfall is not expected to be heavy. Cooler and drier conditions will return for Friday and the weekend.
