The quiet weather pattern we've seen over the past few days will continue through Wednesday. Skies should remain partly to mostly sunny with afternoon highs in the middle to upper 70s.
A weak cold front will work through eastern Carolina on Thursday as a storm system develops well offshore. We could see a few showers on Thursday morning as more clouds roll through the area. The offshore storm system may cause gusty winds and rough surf along the coast by Friday and Saturday. Otherwise, the nice weather pattern will continue through the weekend.
