Muggy With Showers Across Eastern Carolina On Wednesday

The warm and wet weather pattern will continue into Wednesday across eastern Carolina. A stationary front across Virginia coupled with warm, moist air will contribute to numerous showers and a few thunderstorms into Wednesday. The shower activity will be more concentrated on the coast by Wednesday afternoon while inland communities will see a bit more sunshine. Highs will reach the middle to upper 80s inland but the clouds and showers will keep it a bit cooler near the beaches. We should see slightly warmer temperatures on Thursday as get more sunshine but more numerous showers and storms will arrive Friday afternoon through Saturday.
