Monday Temperature Drop Welcomed By Outdoor Workers

Monday was the coolest day we've had since early April in eastern carolina. Last year on October 8th, the high temperature was about 75 degrees: 20 degrees warmer than Monday.

People pulled out the jackets and long sleeves for the 50 degree temperatures across most of the east. We found some people working outside who welcomed the cooler temperatures.

"Most definitely you break and get your long sleeve shirts back out and definitely long pants," said construction worker Paul Sutton.
