Mild With Some Sun Across Eastern Carolina On Tuesday

A weak cold front pushed through the area late Monday bringing some light rain ahead and along the boundary. The front will push offshore early Tuesday allowing somewhat drier air to move in. Most communities will see some sunshine mixed in with clouds. The clouds will begin to thicken late in the day ahead of a developing area of low pressure that will move across eastern Carolina Wednesday. An average of one-half inch with locally heavier amounts can be expected by Wednesday evening. Valentine's Day promises to be sunny with highs in the 50s.
