Cold Front Leaving Eastern Carolina In The 40s

It was a cool day for some, and a warm day for others. Parts of the east on Sunday were held below average in the 60s while others along the coast warmed nicely to the upper 70s, a few locations even registered 80°. The warmth will come to an end on Monday as a cooler, dryer air mass anchors over the area.

Morning lows will dip to the upper 40s/low 50s while coastal locations will be in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs will be roughly 10° cooler on Monday along the coast as temperatures struggle to hit 70°. Further inland, highs are expected to reach the upper 50s/low 60s.

Another round of showers will be possible Monday afternoon.
