Lack Of Winter Snow Hurts Farmers In The West

Farmers cold lose millions of dollars due to the lack of winter snow during the winter months. It could eventually mean higher prices for consumers. Snow runoff traditionally fills up the ditches and ponds that farmers use to irrigate crops during the spring and summer. The summer season is typically dry and that could spell problems for the farmers and eventually consumers.
