Humid With A Chance For Showers On Tuesday Across Eastern North Carolina

Tropical Storm Alberto is heading out to sea and will have little impact on our weather. A weak stationary front will linger across the region for the next two days causing warm, humid and unstable air to persist. Scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected on Tuesday afternoon and evening with locally heavy rainfall possible. The risk for showers will linger into Thursday before drier air arrives. There will be some sunshine on Tuesday as highs reach the lower to middle 80s. Warm weather will continue for the remainder of the week.
