Hot And Sticky With Isolated Storms Across Eastern Carolina

Hot and humid conditions will continue across our area this afternoon. Highs will reach the lower to middle 90s inland and upper 80s on the beaches. Heat indices will hit 100° to 105°. A heat advisory has been issued for Bertie County and much of northeastern North Carolina for Wednesday. Only isolated storms are expected during the afternoon and evening. Very hot temperatures will last through Thursday.
