The week ahead will be rather uncomfortable with hot temperatures and isolated afternoon storms.
The next several days our weather pattern will not fluctuate much from what we dealt with this past weekend until a cold front approaches Thursday.
Highs Monday will be in the lower 90s with temperatures reaching into the middle to perhaps upper 90s Tuesday into Wednesday.
Each afternoon an isolated storm will be possible but rain chances will be capped at a seasonable 20% to 30% through Wednesday.
Most of the storms that do develop over the next few days will remain under the severe weather threshold but a few stronger storms cannot be ruled out.
Regardless of severe weather or not, heavy downpours, gusty winds, and frequent lightning will be possible.
Late in the week our rain chances will increase as the warm and humid air interacts with a front that approaches from the northwest.
At this time the unsettled weather may linger into next weekend as the front is expected to stall near the area.
