Hot With Isolated Storms Across Eastern Carolina On Thursday

High pressure will dominate the weather pattern across our area for the next few days. The high will give us more sunshine and warmer afternoon temperatures. Highs will be close to 90° Thursday with lower 90s Friday through the weekend. Heat indices will be around 100° to 103° each afternoon. Overnight lows will generally fall into the lower 70s. Only isolated storms can be expected the next few days. Any storm that does develop could be strong bringing gusty winds and some hail.
