Hot And Sticky With A Few Afternoon Thunderstorms Across Eastern Carolina On Friday

Little change in the weather pattern can be expected for Friday and the weekend. Temperatures will range from the lower 90s inland to upper 80s on the beaches. The high relative humidity values will take heat indices to around 100° during the afternoon. Only isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon, with about a 20% to 30% risk of getting wet each day. The beaches will see lots of sunshine for the next few days. Light southwesterly winds and upper 80s will keep that summery August feeling in the air.
