Hot And Humid With A Few Storms On Saturday

More heat and high relative humidity can be expected across our area on Saturday. Highs will be close to 90° inland with middle to upper 80s along the coast with heat indices in the middle 90s during the afternoon.

A few storms will likely develop in the afternoon but they should be widely scattered. More thunderstorm coverage is expected through the overnight hours as a strong cold front approaches from the west. Some of the storms associated with the passing front could be severe, but most will likely be under the threshold.

The cold front should sweep moisture off the coast by Sunday afternoon as temperatures hold in the lower 80s. Dry and pleasant weather conditions are expected early next week.
