As a cold front approaches, our skies will turn cloudy over the next two days. The front won't make it to Eastern Carolina until Tuesday, however clouds and scattered showers are possible for Monday. Thunderstorms will roll in Tuesday afternoon, bringing heavy showers to areas with rivers near or above flood stage. These showers are likely to be the last significant rainfall this Spring, as we change seasons on Friday.
