Gradual Improvement Sunday, Dry Air Returns Monday

Showers and storms will be scattered Sunday morning and impact locations along the immediate coast. As temperatures warm this afternoon, thunderstorms will once again develop during the middle part of the day.

The cold front responsible for the stormy weather Friday and Saturday will once again provide the area with showers and storms Sunday.

This front is expected to slowly push east throughout the day gradually diminishing our rain chances during the afternoon from west to east.

By Sunday evening most of the rain showers should be near or off of the coast as dry air filters into the region.

Sunday night into Monday high pressure will build into the area providing a dry forecast.

Our skies will clear late Sunday providing a mostly sunny and dry Monday.

Our next rain chance will arrive Tuesday into Wednesday with another front.
