For locations still in the growing season, a frost advisory has been issued for Washington, Tyrrell, Mainland Dare, Beaufort, Mainland Hyde, Craven and Pamlico County.
Temperatures will bottom out in the mid to upper 30s Sunday morning. Sensitive plants my be damaged or killed if left out this evening. Sunrise will be just before 7am on Sunday and will warm-up quickly into the 40s under clear blue skies.
Looking forward, chilly mornings will be common for the next couple of days. Temperatures will continue to cool into the upper 30s/lower 40s between tonight and Wednesday.
