Portions of southern Texas received over 1 foot of rainfall on Monday. Parts of San Patricio County received 15 inches of rain in about a five-hour period Monday before the slow-moving cold front headed east. No one was injured from the flooding. Police has to wade through waist-deep water to check on folks in Gregory, Texas. The flooding caused schools to close in the area.
