First Snow Of Season To Hit Portions Of Upper Midwest

A potent storm will hit North Dakota and northern Minnesota on Thursday as colder air moves into the area. Rain will change to snow in much of North Dakota by early Thursday then across northern Minnesota by the afternoon. As much as 6 inches of snow is possible near the Canadian border by early Friday. Winter storm warnings have been posted across portions of the area for Thursday.
