Drier and cooler air filtered into eastern Carolina on Friday behind a strong cold that pushed offshore early in the day. The dry air will linger through our Saturday before warming back to near 90° on Sunday.
Afternoon highs on Saturday will hit the middle 80s with no chance of rain and a light westerly wind. Moisture will increase with a threat for showers by early next week.
