Much of Eastern Carolina is under a dense fog advisory on Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service issued the advisory for Martin, Pitt, Washington, Tyrrell, Dare (mainland), Greene, Beaufort, Hyde (mainland), Duplin, Lenoir, Jones, Craven, Pamlico, Carteret and Onslow Counties.
The advisory runs through 9 a.m.
Visibility could be less than a quarter-mile at times. You're urged to drive carefully and defensively.
