Some Schools Delayed With Dense Fog Advisory

Much of Eastern Carolina is under a dense fog advisory this morning.

The National Weather Service has issued the advisory through 9 a.m., though they expect the fog to start to diminish after 8 a.m.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile.

So far, two school delays related to fog are in effect. Bertie County Schools and Hertford County Schools will operate on a one-hour delay today.
