Cool Overnight Then Sunny and Pleasant On Wednesday Across Eastern Carolina

High pressure across Virginia will keep clear and and cool conditions across eastern Carolina overnight. Lows will dip into the lower to middle 50s inland overnight, which will make it the coolest night of the summer season for most communities. Sunny and pleasant conditions will continue across the area on Wednesday. High will rebound to around 80° on Wednesday afternoon. Surf conditions are slowly improving along the North Carolina coast as the remnants of what was Tropical Storm Leslie move far away from our area. Warmer temperatures can be expected at the end of the week.
