A stationary front along the North Carolina/South Carolina border will continue to cause unsettled weather across eastern Carolina. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with a few showers lingering through Friday afternoon and evening. Afternoon highs will be in the middle to upper 70s. The showers will end Friday evening as the front pushes southward.
The weekend will be mainly sunny with highs in the lower 80s inland and 70s along the beaches. Northeast winds will blow at 5 to 10 mph with gusts to 15 mph along the beaches.
