Cloudy And Cold Across Eastern Carolina On Thursday

The rain moved out of eastern Carolina early Wednesday but the clouds and chilly temperatures remained through the afternoon. Cloudy skies will continue overnight into Thursday with a slight risk of some light showers during the morning. The clouds will finally move away by late Thursday or at night. Mostly sunny skies can be expected both Friday and Saturday. Highs on Thursday will struggle to reach the middle to upper 40s during the afternoon. The increased sunshine by the end of the week will lift afternoon temperatures to 50° in most communities.
