Clouds and Cooler Across Eastern Carolina On Wednesday

Chilly temperatures will return to eastern Carolina over the next several days. A weak cold front will push into the area late Wednesday bringing some clouds and a slight chance for light showers. Highs will reach the upper 50s in most communities. The front will sweep out the clouds by early Thursday giving eastern Carolina lots of sunshine and chilly air for the latter portion of the week. Highs will only hit the lower to middle 50s. Overnight lows are likely to go below freezing early Friday. The next significant chance for rain will come Sunday.
