A stationary front just to the south of North Carolina will keep clouds and moisture near the area over the next few days. The best chance for showers will be south of Highway 264 on Thursday with a few heavier showers along the Crystal Coast. The showers should spread northward later Thursday night into Friday.
An area of low pressure will approach from the south on Saturday bringing plenty of rain with it for the first half of the weekend. Showers will become more scattered in nature on Sunday.
