Posted: Mon 5:52 PM, Dec 10, 2012

A cold front will push off the North Carolina coast Tuesday morning followed by more clouds and cooler temperatures. Rain will generally stay to our south and east through the day. Highs will peak out in the lower to middle 60s in the morning then slowly fall into the upper 50s during the afternoon. A developing area of low pressure off the coast will bring a better chance for rain and chilly temperatures on Wednesday.
