Clouds And Chilly On Thursday Across Eastern Carolina

The soaking rain across much of eastern Carolina will finally come to an end on Thursday morning. The rain should be gone by the afternoon but clouds will persist through much of the day. Gusty northerly winds will keep temperatures close to 50° during the afternoon. Skies will clear by Thursday evening giving us a night with near freezing temperatures. A slow warming trend will begin on Friday.
