Clouds And Chilly Across Eastern Carolina On New Year's Day

A slow-moving cold front will approach eastern Carolina on New Year's Day bringing us clouds and a good chance for rain by the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be quite cool with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. The front will stall just to our south and east by Wednesday and that will continue to give us a decent chance for light rain and drizzle into Thursday. Highs will stay in the 40s both Wednesday and Thursday.
