At midday, temperatures ranged from the 40s well inland to near 70 over coastal areas. The mild air may briefly reach inland areas before a cold front moves through later today. Scattered showers will move through the area ahead of the cold front that will push into the area during the late afternoon and evening.
The front will sweep off the coast Wednesday evening followed by drier and colder air for Thursday. Afternoon highs will only hit the upper 40s both Thursday and Friday. A few showers may arrive by Friday evening with a better chance for rain over the weekend.
