The unseasonably chilly conditions across eastern Carolina will continue for the next few days. Clouds and sprinkles are possible on Tuesday as afternoon highs top out in the lower to middle 50s. Gusty northwest winds will make it feel at least 10° cooler. Increasing sunshine is expected by midweek with a slow warming trend by Thursday and Friday. Overnight lows will bottom out near the freezing mark over the next few nights.
