The NWS says visibility may be reduced to a hundred feet or less for Halifax, Nash, Edgecombe, Wilson and Wayne Counties.
Martin, Pitt, Washington, Tyrrell, Dare, Greene, Beaufort, mainland Hyde, Duplin, Lenoir, Jones, Craven, Pamlico and Onslow counties should see visibility between 1 to 3 miles, but could also have areas when visibility is much less.
Motorists should reduce speed and use low beam headlights and allow for extra following distance between vehicles.
