A Warmer Wednesday Across Eastern North Carolina

The chilly air of the past few days will gradually fade into warmer temperatures over the next few days. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s to lower 40s, except middle 40s along the coast. Highs will reach the lower 70s Wednesday and lower 80s by Thursday afternoon. It will be breezy at times with west winds reach 10 to 18 mph inland and 15 to 25 mph along the coast. The best chance for showers will come Thursday afternoon into Friday as a cold front reaches the area and stalls across our southern counties.
