A Warmer Thursday Across Eastern North Carolina

Warmer weather is on the way to our area after cool and damp conditions for much of the week. Highs on Wednesday stayed in the lower to middle 70s under partly cloudy skies. There will be a slight risk of an afternoon shower on Thursday but we should see a lot of sunshine. Sunshine and warmer temperatures are on the way for the rest of the week. Highs will be near 80° Thursday, middle 80s Friday and close to 90° over the weekend. There is little or no chance for rain Friday through the weekend.
