A Sunny And Hot Thursday Across Eastern North Carolina

High pressure just off the East Coast will become a heat pump over the next few days as high temperatures soar well into the 90s to 100°. There will be lots of sunshine with light southwesterly winds. Relative humidity levels will remain fairly dry Thursday but will increase Friday through the weekend. Heat indices will reach 105° to 110°. Heat advisories will likely be issued by Friday and the weekend. Only a stray thunderstorm is possible through the weekend.
