A Warm Thursday But Changes Are Brewing

It will be another sunny and warm day on Thursday with highs hitting the upper 70s to lower 80s. Changes are brewing as we monitor the progress of Hurricane Sandy. Sandy will reach the Bahamas early Friday then move north and northeast off the Southeast coast. Showers will likely develop in coastal North Carolina by Friday night and Saturday as the storm moves closer. The strongest winds and heaviest rainfall will remain offshore but heavy surf action and some beach erosion will develop on the beaches by the weekend. Stay tuned to WITN and WITN.com for the latest updates.
