Hot and sticky conditions will continue on Saturday across the area. Afternoon highs will hit the lower 90s. The combination of high temperatures and high relative humidity will cause the heat index to hit 100° and in some areas, surpass 100°. A stray storm is possible during the day, however most areas will enjoy mostly sunny skies.
A cold front will approach the area by Sunday evening and that should cause an increase in shower and storm activity. Early next week promises to be wetter but temperatures will take a dip with the increased cloud cover.
