A Chance For Showers Across Eastern Carolina On Tuesday

A cold front will approach eastern Carolina from the northwest on Tuesday causing a chance for showers. The showers will be scattered and rainfall amounts will be around a tenth or less in most locations. The front will sweep the clouds and showers off the coast by Tuesday night followed by lots of sunshine for Wednesday and the latter portion of the week. Highs Tuesday will be close to 60° with lower 50s expected for Wednesday.
