Cross creek overflowed its banks and has formed a fast-moving channel through the middle of Festival Park in Fayetteville.

The lower parking deck at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh is closed because Crabtree Creek is at flood stage and is spilling into the mall's parking lot. The mall is open for business.

There are reports of road closures in Durham and Chapel Hill.
