Beach Weather Should Be Pleasant This Weekend
Showers have dotted Eastern North Carolina's landscape this week but a drying trend should begin by late in the weekend. Reporter: Marvin Daugherty |

It looks like Labor Day will be pleasant across Eastern North Carolina, including the beaches. As the remnants of Tropical Storm Fay move out of the area by Saturday evening, we should see more sunshine along with very warm temperatures. Beach areas should see partly sunny conditions with highs in the middle 80s Saturday through Monday. Winds will remain light out of the south on Saturday and shift to the northwest or north later Sunday into Monday. Tropical Storm Hannah shouldn't have any impact on the area's weather through the Labor Day Weekend.
