Coastal Counties Under Heat Advisories Tuesday

Coastal counties in the Eastern Carolina will be under a heat advisory Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says temperatures in the mid-90s and high humidity will force heat indexes into the 105 to 110 degree range Tuesday afternoon and evening.
The counties under the advisory are Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Dare, Hyde, Jones, Onslow, Pamlico, Tyrrell and Washington counties.
The advisory means there are increased chances of heat illnesses possible. People are advised to drink plenty of fluids if you need to be outdoors, and to check on relatives and neighbors often.
