Divers are searching for possible flood victims in the wake of rain storms in Arkansas and Tennessee.
In Tennessee, rescuers are looking for a tow truck driver
apparently swept into a flooded ditch. Authorities say he was
trying to tow a stalled car. In Arkansas, there's a search for a
man missing after his boat capsized in the Black River.
At least two people have drowned in Tennessee and a third in
Oklahoma in recent days.
The rain-soaked region is bracing for more, potentially heavy,
downpours tonight. The National Weather Service is issuing flash
flood warnings for parts of Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee.
Elsewhere, heavy snow fell across the Upper Midwest, with 20
inches reported in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In Minnesota, the
state patrol says slick roads contributed to at least one traffic
death earlier this week.
